Yogi Tea is good for the blood, colon, nervous system and bones. It is also great for colds and flu, and for building general physical strength.

Ingredients: (makes one cup)

10 ounces (315 ml) water

2 slices fresh ginger root (optional)

3 cloves

4 green cardamon pods, cracked

4 black peppercorns

1/2 stick cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon black tea (or a teabag)

1/2 cup (125 ml) milk or equivalent (optional)

Honey (optional)

Bring the water to a boil and add the spices. Cover and continue boiling for 10-15 minutes.

Remove from heat, add black tea, and let steep for 1-2 minutes.

Add honey and milk, bring to a boil and remove from heat. Strain and serve.
