On fortnightly Wednesday evenings we run a Pregnancy Yoga class (19.15–20.15) followed by a Yoga Nidra class (20.30–21.30).
In our nourishing Pregnancy Yoga classes we practise gentle movements to tone muscles and build strength and create a sense of space in the body as things begin to feel a bit cramped in there! We also practise breathing exercises to calm nerves, reduce anxiety and improve sleep, and we cover tools for labour and birth. Classes cost £15/£50 for a block of 4 consecutive classes, and must be booked online. Pre-booking is essential as the number is limited to 6 pupils.
In the Yoga Nidra classes, we begin with breathing exercises and gentle stretches and then lie down for a deep guided relaxation (approx 30 minutes). Treat yourself to a midweek dose of deep physical, mental and emotional relaxation. A great opportunity to wash away anything negative and to re-set yourself for the rest of the week with a more relaxed and positive frame of mind. As well as being deeply relaxing, Yoga Nidra is also a tool for self-development and it is possible to work on something specific by setting a sankalpa: a positive resolution which you repeat each time you practise, watering this seed until it comes to fruition. Classes cost £10/£36 for a block of 4 consecutive classes, and must be booked online. Pre-booking is essential as the number is limited to 8 pupils.

Mats and blankets are provided but please feel free to bring your own mat if you wish or any additional blankets or cushions to help you feel as comfy as possible.
